About us

Tessa Niles is an internationally renowned session singer, writer, broadcaster and storyteller

whose voice has helped shape the sound of modern music. Her extraordinary career

includes work with icons such as David Bowie at Live Aid, Tina Turner, The Police, Eric

Clapton, Grace Jones and Kylie. Her autobiography ‘Backtrack,’ chronicles life working with

music’s greatest stars. She has written and performed ‘Unsung Singers’ a live show

celebrating the British singers behind pops greatest hits. With a sharp eye for story and an

instinctive understanding of rhythm and tone, Tessa brings a powerful voice to her

creative written word encompassing emotional honesty, and a passion for untold stories.

Dani Lemer

Dani Lemer is a writer, therapeutic counsellor and former professional singer. Raised in a

family of professional musicians, Dani’s creative life has taken her from TV sets to recording

studios and live shows. With credits including appearances on EastEnders, Call the

Midwife, and vocal session work for brands including the unforgettable Toys R Us advert,

Dani brings a deep understanding of performance, identity, and emotional nuance to her

writing projects. She writes with compassion and insight into what it means to live with both

visible and invisible challenges.
